Job Description: Helium Services Coordinator
Location: Mendota Heights, MN
Job Description:
The Helium Services Coordinator is responsible for managing the end-to-end coordination of helium-related services, acting as the primary liaison between internal teams, vendors, and customers. This role ensures seamless helium logistics across retail and distribution centers, maintains accurate inventory tracking, and drives operational excellence through detailed reporting and vendor oversight. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics or supply chain coordination, coupled with excellent communication and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for all helium-related services across internal departments,
vendors, and customers. - Prepare and deliver regular performance reports to clients, using data from vendors and internal systems to ensure accuracy and transparency.
- Maintain service schedules and vendor service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring up-to-date and accurate documentation with internal systems.
- Coordinate aspects helium tank deliveries, pickups, and exchanges across retail or distribution
locations. - Track and document helium tank inventory levels across the entire network. Monitor and manage helium supply inventory to meet operational demands, as well as maintain and update helium pricing across all vendors, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in logistics coordination, purchasing, supply chain, client service, or vendor management preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
- Prior industrial gas experience highly preferred
- Familiarity working with an ERP system, preferably ABAS.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with data and reporting tools.
