Supplies you’ll need:
- 5” latex balloons – gold and white (or 11” latex balloons works as well)
- Curling ribbon (or fishing line)
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun
- Balloon hand pump
- Your choice of leaf picks and small faux pumpkins. You can find these at your local craft stores!
Recommended latex balloons:
Step 1: (a) Tie a gold and white balloon together. (b) Tie two white balloons together. (c) Cut the tails off the balloons, this creates a cleaner look.
Step 2: Twist the two pairs together, locking them in place. You should now have a quad – four balloons tied together.
Step 3: Repeat steps 1-3 until you’ve created a total of four quads like the ones below.
Step 4: Use a piece of ribbon or fishing line and tightly tie it around one quad.
Step 5: Tie ribbon around the next set of quads connecting two quads together. Pull string to make sure the balloons are tight in place.
Step 6: Once you’ve tied and connected all four quads, tie a knot at the end and cut the remaining of the ribbon.
Step 7: Fill in the gaps with leaf picks of your choice. (Faux pinecones are optional)
Step 8: The last step is to use a hot glue gun and glue the faux pumpkins over any gaps.
…And now you’re done! Enjoy the party!
